All Mashpee Recreation pickleball lessons are taught by Straight-Up Pickleball, founded by Laura and Karl Uggerholt.  Straight-Up's experienced and caring Coaching Team offer comprehensive pickleball lessons, allowing players to advance through a consistent curriculum at their own pace.  The instructors are excited about the 2025 season and look forward to sharing what they know about a sport they love with great people ! 

Designed for people who recently learned to play pickleball and are ready to refine their skill sets in two 90 minute lessons.  The Straight-Up Coaches will focus on topics such as shot selection, skills refinement, positioning and serve/return consistency.  Qualified participants know the rules, how to serve and return and how to keep score. 

Note : Novice Clinics are for players who already know how to play pickleball.  It is recommended those interested in learning pickleball for the first time sign up for a Beginner Clinic.
