CIT - Entering Grades 8+9 Mashpee Recreation Camp Program
The Mashpee Recreation CIT (Counselor-in-Training) Program is designed for those entering grades 8 and 9 who are ready to grow as leaders. This hands-on summer experience builds confidence, responsibility, and teamwork skills while teaching what it takes to be a successful camp counselor.
CITs assist staff at Mashpee Recreation Department summer camp programs, support younger campers, and help create a fun and safe environment. It’s a rewarding opportunity to gain leadership experience, make a positive impact, and enjoy a great summer at camp.
Please Note: Registration is not available online for the Counselor In Training Program. Download and complete the attached form and email completed form tocamp@mashpeema.gov or drop it off at the Recreation Office located at 520 Main Street with the additional requested information.
Deadline for CIT Applications will be Monday, May 4, 2026. Applicants will be set up with interviews in May. Mashpee Rec admin staff will email families to schedule as needed.
