Mashpee Recreation pickleball lessons in January will be taught by Straight-Up Pickleball coaches and founders, Laura and Karl Uggerholt. Karl and Laura are excited to work with students during this one-time winter lesson opportunity, sharing what they know about a sport they love with great people! (Please email info@straightuppb.com with questions.) Pickleball Skills Clinic: Join the 3% of Players Who Do This!What is the skill only 3% of pickleball players do correctly? Stopping before taking a shot every time! Why is stopping so difficult? How do players implement a change that goes against their natural instincts? This lesson will teach students the physical and mental checklists to join the 3%! Time to implement and play with/against the coaches will be part of this lesson too! As always, an interesting, challenging, and fun 90 minutes! Appropriate for Intermediate and Advanced students.Notes: students will be grouped based on level of experience. Appropriate for intermediate and advanced students, the lesson format includes playing games with three students on a court with one experienced coach. Points/rallies are reviewed and discussed to hone in on what transpired and identify alternative strategic options. Students receive specific and actionable feedback. Most importantly, everyone will have fun on the court!Notes: Students will be grouped based on level of experience. This clinic is for people who already know the rules and basics of Pickleball.

Futsal Indoors with Brazillian United - Futsal with Brazillian United Soccer Ages 3-5 BUSA is an organization of soccer educators who through their futsal program want to bring the flair and passion of Brazilian Soccer to North America.Many of Brazil's top soccer players grew up playing Futsal which helped them develop incredible foot skills and quick decision-making.The BUSA Futsal Coaches will help your players learn and practice these specialized skills along with teaching them about improvisation, creativity, ball control, and small space passing.Our program offers the perfect setting for long-term development! Many world class footballers played Futsal in their youth and recognize the part it played on their journey.Players of the calibre of Pele, Zico, Ronaldinho, Neymar, Lionel Messi to name but a few of the South American legends all played and enjoyed Futsal.For both programs-a caregiver is required to be present and on site with child unless part of the Mashpee Rec After Care.No Class 1/19 and 2/16.

It will focus on learning/reviewing the terminology of specific steps in line dancing and how to link them together in popular combinations to follow an instructor’s calls while dancing. A great place to ask questions, build understanding and confidence and have some community fun! All levels are welcome.
